Who runs this
HookCheck is run by ONX Media, a Meta Ads agency based in New Zealand. Questions, removal requests and unsubscribes all go to marketing@onxmediahub.com.
What we collect
- The script or hook you paste in.
- What you sell and who you sell to, if you choose to fill that in.
- Your first name and email, when you enter them to get the rewrites.
- The score and the rewrites HookCheck gave you.
- A short tag from the link you arrived on, such as a group post, so we know which links work.
HookCheck also counts visits and a few steps, such as starting a script, getting a result or clicking through to ONX. Those counts do not include your name, your email or your script. See Meta below.
Who it goes to
- Anthropic. Your script, and the line about what you sell if you filled it in, are sent to Anthropic's AI (called Claude). It uses them to write your rewrites, or to sort your script into parts if you use Sort with AI. Your name and email are not sent there.
- ONX Media's customer system (GoHighLevel). Your name, email, script, the line about what you sell and your result are saved there. This is so your review email can reach you, and so ONX can get in touch.
- Google Fonts. This page loads its fonts from Google, so Google can see your IP address when the page loads, like any site that uses Google Fonts.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram). This page uses ONX Media's Meta pixel. It tells Meta that someone visited, started a script, got a result or clicked through to ONX, along with the tag from your link. Meta can match that to your Facebook or Instagram account if you are logged in, and the pixel stores cookies and a little saved data in your browser. ONX can use it to show ads to people who visited. The pixel does not load if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can also turn off ad tracking in your Meta ad settings.
- Netlify. It hosts this page and can see your IP address, like any website host does. HookCheck also uses your IP address to stop one person sending too many checks too fast.
Why
To score your script, send you the rewrites, and get in touch if we could work well together. The emails after that are marketing emails from ONX Media.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only as long as we need them for the reasons above. Ask us to delete them at any time and we will.
Unsubscribe and removal
Every email from ONX Media has an unsubscribe link. You can also write to marketing@onxmediahub.com to unsubscribe, to see what we hold about you, to fix it, or to have it deleted. New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 gives you the right to ask for all of those.
Saved on your device
After you enter your email, your browser remembers your name, email and last result so you do not have to type them again. If you use "Write it for me", it also remembers your last answers so your next script is quicker to write. It keeps the last three scripts you wrote or copied, so you can open them again. That stays on your device. To remove it, use "Not you? Clear saved details" on the page, or clear this site's data in your browser.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
